About night alpha textures

I did my night textures the old way:
by copying the night Master texture: Edit/Paste/AS New Layer
on the day texture: Layers/Properties/Mutiply/OK

Alpha texturing did'nt work for me,I've got an old Paint Shop Pro.

aircraft is from CamSim or Camil Valiquette.
